This is honestly one of the best purchases as a new Mum. I could leave it on low at night so I could see baby. When she went to her own room at 6 months, I left it in my room and took egg with me to make bottle and feed/change her during night so was a nice calm dim light. I love this! So maybe adjustable setting to help you. Will need another for my next baby as I don't think I can share!
